The view at Boardwalk Lodge is fantastic - from our apartment we could look out over Wilderness and the beautiful ocean, even managing to watch a whale in the waters one afternoon.
The apartment was perfect for our family, it was clean, comfortable and very spacious.

We had an excellent stay here — our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had a lovely view of the Indian Ocean (as well as the property’s lovely garden). Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer. It’s also just a very short walk to the centre of Wilderness which is great for going to restaurants in the evening.

Cherry is not like your normal Host, she's exceptional, she's super nice, she's accommodating, great communication.
The place was like home away from home, we're even planning on coming back. It was hard to leave. The gardens are heavenly, there's a book with suggestions so you don't have to spend time thinking about what to do when in George. The place is neat, there's so many towels in the bathroom, there's everything you'll need in the kitchen. Also I love that she trusted us with her place and gave us our space. Cherry YOU DESERVE A MILLION STARS!!

The Loerie Mountain Cabin is a wonderful getaway with spectacular views and a nice calming environment. The cabin is lovely and fitted with everything that you need. It is an amazing experience and the hosts are very friendly.
We loved the location, the extremely comfy bed and the super friendly and helpful owners. They really went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. As we arrived on a Sunday, they had to change the linen and clean the cabin themselves after the previous guests left! The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not end up using the hot tub, but that looked amazing as well.
Our Chalet was situated perfectly alongside the Lake. Experiencing the morning sunrise, the kids fishing in it, canoeing as well - Just perfect. The host Natashia was lovely and super friendly.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The grounds were well maintained. The shop on the property was very convenient and had delicious food to purchase. The free bottle of milk given to us on arrival definitely encouraged us to purchase some more while we were there. The children had a wonderful time on the farm. The chalets were clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.
The chalet is located on a property bordering Rondevlei and Langevlei, two lakes of major importance from a naturalist point of view (RAMSAR areas). For birdwatchers (like me), this is a place of great interest. In addition, Tim (the owner) is also a birdwatcher and was very helpful, offering to guide me to find the difficult endemic birds (Victorin's warbler). We had a great time in this beautiful area of the garden route. Self catering mandatory. The chalet is very well equipped for cooking.
What a magical experience! Such a beautiful little Chalet nestled in the bush. So isolated and far from civilization - we loved the privacy. You only hear nature and a ton of birds. It was such a cozy little place. I loved the visits from the birds and the fireplace in the evenings. More than enough wood for braais and the fireplace at night. Kind host and we just loved Thandi! Chalet was well equipt and we had absolutely everything we needed. We CANNOT wait to be back!
