Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Friendly staff, knew English very well, great location for the price, convenient check out procedure. It's a great place to stay definitely recommend for a budget friendly option
It ticks all the boxes! Cheap, comfortable, clean, friendly and very helpful staff. The Japanese-style breakfast buffet was amazing - not to mention you get a free alcoholic drink during your stay too!
The location is perfect also - right infront of the tram stop and near-by the castle and peace park - not to mention sooooo many shops. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima looking for something central :)
Perfect capsule hotel. Very comfortable capsule, really good mattress, clean, good space. Excellent facilities, with showers, sinks, toilets and powder rooms separated, so there was never a line at any of them. Clean towels and PJ every day. Very friendly staff. Free coffee in the morning. Brilliant location!
Convenient, clean, quiet and very well appointed. Reception staff were friendly and spoke English well (and were very polite with my halting Japanese). Would stay here again.
Was only a 2 min walk from the electric street car stop, staff were incredibly friendly, the facilities were very well looked after and clean. Each floor had its own space for relaxing decorated in a traditional Japanese layout which provided a comfortable end of day resting place. The capsules were very spacious and the bag storage was large enough for a larger suitcase which is rare to come across! As I arrived in the morning, staff happily allowed me to store my bag until check in time.
Very convenient capsule hotel, perfect for a night. We already had a couple of nights booked in Hiroshima but couldn't extend, so we ended up booking a night here. The staff were nice, facilities were good, exactly what you'd expect from a capsule hotel. We liked the fact that you could reserve a room for two.
Convenient location. A few stops from Hiroshima Station. The tram stop is just in front of the hotel building. A convenience store is just next to the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes walk to the shopping and dining areas.
The hotel provides all your basic needs on the same floor, such as lockers, shower rooms, rest rooms, TV room, working desks and laundry (so no need to go up and down like some other capsule hotels).
My first experience with a capsule hotel. Everything went as described in various online forums. Super friendly front desk staff. Onsen beyond expectations - yes, the pools are a bit worn out, but everything was absolutely clean and - much to our surprise - the onsen has actually 2 floor, where the upper has ceiling open to the sky!
