Find the capsule hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
The capsule hotel was right beside a FamilyMart and it's in front of a tram stop which you can take to Hiroshima station, or to the island of Miyajima.
The staff was amazing, I felt really welcomed and they explained all the procedures for my stay.
The capsule was clean and I slept well as other travelers also kept the rules of being quiet.
They provided new amenities every day.
The lounge area has a vending machine for drinks.
Overall it was a great experience!
The staff were incredibly friendly and the place had a family like atmosphere. Both the breakfast and diner options were delicious and well priced. The fact that there’s also a bar, which also some locals visited only added to the experience. Especially if you can speak a little japanese, you van mix with the locals. The location is convenient, as it is close to a station the peace memorial park, the castle and there is a 7 eleven just around the corner. I’ve been to dozens of hostels in Japan and this one is definitely in the top 3!
convenient location right by the station. While major attractions aren't within walking distance, the area is well-connected by public transport and taxis, making them easily accessible. Plus, the proximity to the station is fantastic for exploring
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel breakfast is a delightful perk, and the rooms offer both a shower and a bathtub – perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak in a traditional Japanese bath.
Friendly staff, knew English very well, great location for the price, convenient check out procedure. It's a great place to stay definitely recommend for a budget friendly option
It ticks all the boxes! Cheap, comfortable, clean, friendly and very helpful staff. The Japanese-style breakfast buffet was amazing - not to mention you get a free alcoholic drink during your stay too!
The location is perfect also - right infront of the tram stop and near-by the castle and peace park - not to mention sooooo many shops. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima looking for something central :)
Perfect capsule hotel. Very comfortable capsule, really good mattress, clean, good space. Excellent facilities, with showers, sinks, toilets and powder rooms separated, so there was never a line at any of them. Clean towels and PJ every day. Very friendly staff. Free coffee in the morning. Brilliant location!
Convenient, clean, quiet and very well appointed. Reception staff were friendly and spoke English well (and were very polite with my halting Japanese). Would stay here again.
Was only a 2 min walk from the electric street car stop, staff were incredibly friendly, the facilities were very well looked after and clean. Each floor had its own space for relaxing decorated in a traditional Japanese layout which provided a comfortable end of day resting place. The capsules were very spacious and the bag storage was large enough for a larger suitcase which is rare to come across! As I arrived in the morning, staff happily allowed me to store my bag until check in time.
Very convenient capsule hotel, perfect for a night. We already had a couple of nights booked in Hiroshima but couldn't extend, so we ended up booking a night here. The staff were nice, facilities were good, exactly what you'd expect from a capsule hotel. We liked the fact that you could reserve a room for two.
