Great local experience. Mostly Japanese staying here.
Fukuyama
Located in Fukuyama, 700 metres from Fukuyama Castle Museum, カプセル&サウナ日本 -男性専用 men only- features views of the city. The property is set 800 metres from Sanzo Inari Shrine, 1 km from Fukuyama Museum of Literature and less than 1 km from Bingo Gokoku Shrine. The capsule hotel features a sauna, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi throughout the property. Capsules were on their own separate floor away from the locker room and the bath house, which allowed it to be kept quiet and dark. The locker room was very sizable, plenty of space to keep all your stuff and change. There were bathrooms on every floor (three floors - 5th floor is locker rooms / front desk and some bathrooms, 4th floor is capsules / bathrooms and an area to charge devices and read, 6th floor is the bathhouse (showers, onsen, cold dip, wet sauna, dry sauna) along with an area to hang out to drink water and have beers and watch tv. Men only, going about and relaxing and recovering. Really sets a mood that I do not get to feel often, but it was comfortable and nice. Also, extremely close to the Fukuyama train station for access to both JR and Shinkansen. The staff was always extremely nice, showing me where things were, and answering my questions. They even hung onto my bag during the day after I checked out so that I could ride the Shimanami Kaido without needing to find a place to keep my bags.
Hiroshima City Centre, Hiroshima
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is a 20-minute walk or a 10-minute drive from this capsule hotel. Hiroshima Museum of Arts and Shukkei-en Garden are both a 10-minute drive from Grand Sauna Hiroshima (Male Only). The nearest airport is Hiroshima Airport, approximately a 65-minute bus ride away. Amazing place. Very friendly stuff. You need to take off your shoes before entering the hotel, so you can walk everywhere with socks, because carpets are laid on the floor. Capsule bed is pretty big, comfortable, there were a lot of space for you and your belongings. Plus you have locker for belongings. Location was good, at the downtown, 25 min walking to the Hiroshima castle and 20 to Atomic Bomb Dome. And the best part is the free spa (or we can call it Japanese style onsen) with everything in addition to it (towels, night wear, sleepers, toothbrush, razors and etc.). Spa has indoor and outdoor pools (and even proper 90°C degree bath). It was very enjoyable to rest in the evening at the spa.

The capsule hotel was right beside a FamilyMart and it's in front of a tram stop which you can take to Hiroshima station, or to the island of Miyajima. The staff was amazing, I felt really welcomed and they explained all the procedures for my stay. The capsule was clean and I slept well as other travelers also kept the rules of being quiet. They provided new amenities every day. The lounge area has a vending machine for drinks. Overall it was a great experience!
convenient location right by the station. While major attractions aren't within walking distance, the area is well-connected by public transport and taxis, making them easily accessible. Plus, the proximity to the station is fantastic for exploring The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel breakfast is a delightful perk, and the rooms offer both a shower and a bathtub – perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak in a traditional Japanese bath.
Friendly staff, knew English very well, great location for the price, convenient check out procedure. It's a great place to stay definitely recommend for a budget friendly option
Perfect capsule hotel. Very comfortable capsule, really good mattress, clean, good space. Excellent facilities, with showers, sinks, toilets and powder rooms separated, so there was never a line at any of them. Clean towels and PJ every day. Very friendly staff. Free coffee in the morning. Brilliant location!
Was only a 2 min walk from the electric street car stop, staff were incredibly friendly, the facilities were very well looked after and clean. Each floor had its own space for relaxing decorated in a traditional Japanese layout which provided a comfortable end of day resting place. The capsules were very spacious and the bag storage was large enough for a larger suitcase which is rare to come across! As I arrived in the morning, staff happily allowed me to store my bag until check in time.
Convenient location. A few stops from Hiroshima Station. The tram stop is just in front of the hotel building. A convenience store is just next to the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes walk to the shopping and dining areas. The hotel provides all your basic needs on the same floor, such as lockers, shower rooms, rest rooms, TV room, working desks and laundry (so no need to go up and down like some other capsule hotels).
The inclusive stay with a Japanese dinner and breakfast was a wonderful experience. The room was very spacious. I would recommend staying two nights if you can afford to take make the most of the facilities. The room included a Nespresso coffee maker with pods and lovely teas. The water jug instead of bottled water was a positive eco friendly way to provide water and the insulated jug meant the water was still ice cold the next morning. The bath was big and deep and the beds were very comfortable.
Lovely little guesthouse perfect for cycling Onomichi - Imabari route. Really clean, friendly and we had very comfortable bunk beds in the dormitory with bedding and towel. Even has food vending machine for hot snacks if the local sleepy town offerings have closed.
Everything. It was unique. The old style Japanese spa, sauna and showers. The very roomy capsules, the sixth floor recliner sofas , like being in a first class airplane cabin, and top notch down to earth cheap as chips canteen - which seemed to be open round the clock. Top marks.
The host and chef are two really kind, lovely, japanese ladies who made us feel right at home. The food (dinner and breakfast) was incredible, some of the best we had in our 3 weeks travelling in Japan! The location is very convenient, close to the ferry and the sightseeing locations. There is also a cute friendly cat around the hotel which was a plus at least for us!
