Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights. A truly unique experience in a special part of the world. From booking to check-out, the process was smooth and straightforward. Atte, Alexa, and team were responsive, organized, warm, and gracious hosts, and both the basecamp and mobile cabin were spotless and well-outfitted. Note that snow suits and boots are provided for those in need at the basecamp, along with WCs, showers, towels, and space to store any snacks/drinks you might wish to bring with you. While we unfortunately didn't have time to take advantage of any of the activities, we did reserve spaces in the grill hut for a delicious meal and terrific conversation (I'd note that for those interested in ice fishing, Atte is a skilled guide). The mobile cabins themselves were wholly original, compact yet comfortable rooms on runners. They are pulled out on the ice at 8 pm and retrieved at 8 am, giving you many quiet and peaceful hours on the lake with the lights of homes and Inari town in the distance. Our evening was mostly overcast so we saw only one hint of aurora, but one can imagine the show when the sky is clear. We wrapped our visit with a delicious homecooked breakfast back at basecamp. Ubytovanie Kenttäniemi Cottages ponúka saunu a bezplatné súkromné parkovisko a je vzdialené 43 km od miesta Arktikum Science Centre a 48 km od miesta Santa Park. everthing was perfekt, the cottage is super cozy and so beautiful. it looks like a fairytale in Snow, perfekt spot for Aurora! the owner is super nice and showed us the reindeer Farm. it was an amazing experience and Holiday! we want to Come back! :)

Located in Tornio city centre, this camping offers cottages with a terrace, kitchenette and river views. Tornio Train Station is 2.5 km away. Parking is free on site. Kids had so much fun here and parents were able to relax. Trampoline, pool, river, minigolf, bikes and pedal cars were great. There is a big hypermarket nearby (5-10 mins by bike, 20 mins by foot) and staff was very friendly. Being able to park the car right next to the cabin was handy.

Set a 5-minute drive from Ivalo town centre, Ivalo River Camping offers heated cottages with shared kitchen facilities in the summer time, free parking and free WiFi. The location was wonderful - it felt like I was secluded and out in nature, but in reality I was a short bike ride away from everything I needed (you can borrow bicycles from the reception when there isn't snow, and snowmobiles when there is). Alternatively, I could have walked everywhere but it would have taken a bit longer (although people do this, and I was able to walk to the airport at the end of my stay). The property is easily accessible by bus. It has its own special stop on the route from Rovaniemi to Ivalo. The staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful, warm. As a solo traveler staying in a hut in the middle of somewhat remote northern Finland, I felt very safe and secure. The accommodations provide you everything you need - a warm, comfortable place to sleep, hot showers, kitchen if needed, WiFi. You can purchase food at reception or go into town. You can drink the tap water. There is hiking, walking, nature scenes to be had in the immediate vicinity. Simply walking or biking alongside the river is such a treat. You are able to see the northern lights outside your cabin when the sky is clear and dark, no need to chase them in a car. I originally wanted to stay in a glass igloo, but they are so expensive. Here, I could look out my window and see how the sky looked, and then take a few steps outside if I wanted to see better, and that provided me with some beautiful scenes. When it's quiet, you can hear huskies barking in the distance, but it's not too loud that you are kept awake. Overall, the ambience is lovely and exactly what I came here for. Offering a barbecue, Kyrön Loma is set in Kyrö, 78 km from Levi. Muonio is 58 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Beautiful countryside, nice friendly staff. Swimming in the lake, real Finnish sauna, walking in the forests. Good Finnish countryside breakfast. Resting. Normal quiet life.

Right next to Lemmenjoki National Park and 50 metres from the Lemmenjoki River, this property has a restaurant, riverside sauna and rowing boat rentals. Ivalo Airport is a 1-hour drive away. Beautiful nature, good camping, they suggested to us to change cabin to a room with no additional price, but we stayed in a small cabin and just enjoyed it!
