They even gave me a Christmas gift when I checked in. The location is a few kilometres from the main road of the village, but that made it more appealing for me because it was in a nice and quiet area. It is in between some of the larger cabins, but it did not feel crowded at all. The facilities inside the cabin are more than enough for me, and it met all my needs. It felt really cosy inside the cabin.

We was really Happy, beautiful place nice view good little cottage very warm whole cottage was heated even the floor , plus bonus little fire place make completely this place fantastic, besides the cottage also tiny cottage with fire place awesome place for bbq , good spot for fishing and also reindeer farm there 😊😊very happy Honza and Terka 😊

Þetta tjaldstæði er staðsett í miðbæ Tornio og býður upp á sumarbústaði með verönd, eldhúskrók og útsýni yfir ána. Tornio-lestarstöðin er í 2,5 km fjarlægð. Bílastæði eru ókeypis á staðnum. Kids had so much fun here and parents were able to relax. Trampoline, pool, river, minigolf, bikes and pedal cars were great. There is a big hypermarket nearby (5-10 mins by bike, 20 mins by foot) and staff was very friendly. Being able to park the car right next to the cabin was handy.

Set a 5-minute drive from Ivalo town centre, Ivalo River Camping offers heated cottages with shared kitchen facilities in the summer time, free parking and free WiFi. Oh, Ivalo River Camping! What can I say about this place? It was an incredible place to stay, and I can’t believe I witnessed the breathtaking northern lights there. It was a magical moment, and the view was simply stunning, right above the property. I had no regrets at all. The amenities were top-notch, and I loved the proximity of the bathrooms to the rooms. They were spotlessly clean, to the point where you couldn’t find a single trace of dirt or a corner that wasn’t gleaming. I am so grateful for the exceptional staff at this establishment. They were incredibly professional and made my experience one of the best I’ve ever had. They are always ready to assist me with taxi services or even help me book activities at a safari that they have access to. As a side note, make sure to always have a lot of taxi numbers handy, just in case. Also, keep in mind that taxis don’t operate after 12 p.m., so ensure that you complete all your tasks before that time. I highly recommend visiting the diner and trying their reindeer kebab and cheeseburger.

Cozy little huts at a lakeside with friendly people and access to a typical finish sauna. Ideal for couples and everyone who seeks a place outside the busy tourist center of Rovaniemi. Probably one of the nicest spots you can find there.
