What a magnificent place. Superb location, massive and very luxurious rooms with full view of the bush and a stunning restaurant and bar area. We also expected to struggle for food. But Mababe River lodge has a wonderful chef, and our meals were delicious and very plentiful. The staff is also very welcoming and professional. We had tons of wildlife around our rooms, including hyena and lion. We will most definitely be back!

Nastanitev Semowi Lodge and Campsites je od znamenitosti Nhabe Museum oddaljena 38 km in ponuja restavracijo, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Nice campsite. Beautiful river view from restaurant. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Clean ablutions.

Nastanitev Mankwe Camping se nahaja v mestu Chiro Pan, 36 km od znamenitosti Narodni park Mababe Gate Chobe. Letališče Maun je 95 km stran. The owners/management were very generous in allowing us to use the pool at their resort, which was a different location from the camping area where we stayed. This was a welcome relief, as temperatures reached 42°C on the day that we were there! The campsite was beautiful and we had elephants wandering through in the night! They were very polite and circumnavigated the camp, without entering closer than 15 meters. We also heard hyenas, but they did not bother us. It was a magical evening in the bush!
