What a magnificent place. Superb location, massive and very luxurious rooms with full view of the bush and a stunning restaurant and bar area. We also expected to struggle for food. But Mababe River lodge has a wonderful chef, and our meals were delicious and very plentiful. The staff is also very welcoming and professional. We had tons of wildlife around our rooms, including hyena and lion. We will most definitely be back!

Sitatunga Campsite Maun is a recently renovated campground in Maun. The property offers free WiFi, open-air bath and a garden. The staff are super friendly and helpful.. we booked the canoe (mokoro) through them which was an amazing experience. Very well organised, the packed lunch was delicious, the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Also the driver who took us to the mokoro place (Lovemore) was super nice. All in all it was a very great experience.

Nastanitev Mankwe Camping se nahaja v mestu Chiro Pan, oddaljena 36 km od znamenitosti Narodni park Mababe Gate Chobe. Najbližje letališče (Letališče Maun) je 95 km od nastanitve Mankwe Camping. The owners/management were very generous in allowing us to use the pool at their resort, which was a different location from the camping area where we stayed. This was a welcome relief, as temperatures reached 42°C on the day that we were there! The campsite was beautiful and we had elephants wandering through in the night! They were very polite and circumnavigated the camp, without entering closer than 15 meters. We also heard hyenas, but they did not bother us. It was a magical evening in the bush!
