Situated 11 km from Mababe Gate Chobe National Park, Mababe River Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. With river views, this accommodation provides a patio and a swimming pool. We expected something fairly basic, but it is not basic at all! What a magnificent place. Superb location, massive and very luxurious rooms with full view of the bush and a stunning restaurant and bar area. We also expected to struggle for food. But Mababe River lodge has a wonderful chef, and our meals were delicious and very plentiful. The staff is also very welcoming and professional. We had tons of wildlife around our rooms, including hyena and lion. We will most definitely be back!

Il Mankwe Camping si trova a Chiro Pan. L'aeroporto più vicino è quello di Maun, a 85 km dal campeggio. The owners/management were very generous in allowing us to use the pool at their resort, which was a different location from the camping area where we stayed. This was a welcome relief, as temperatures reached 42°C on the day that we were there! The campsite was beautiful and we had elephants wandering through in the night! They were very polite and circumnavigated the camp, without entering closer than 15 meters. We also heard hyenas, but they did not bother us. It was a magical evening in the bush! 

Sitatunga Campsite Maun is a recently renovated campground in Maun, where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi, open-air bath and garden. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. Food simple but very tasty.

Immage of Africa Safari Tour is set in Maun and offers a garden. The property has river views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Nhabe Museum is 3.7 km away.
