Campsite is situated under trees, so nicely shadow. Unfenced, so you get the real natural wildlife thrill :) Lodge is amazingto hang out and watch the plains for more animals. Loved the honesty bar: grab your drink, make a note, pay later Owner/staff is really nice, we had great talks in the evening. Perfect start/ending point for Chobe!

We expected something fairly basic, but it is not basic at all! What a magnificent place. Superb location, massive and very luxurious rooms with full view of the bush and a stunning restaurant and bar area. We also expected to struggle for food. But Mababe River lodge has a wonderful chef, and our meals were delicious and very plentiful. The staff is also very welcoming and professional. We had tons of wildlife around our rooms, including hyena and lion. We will most definitely be back!

Semowi Lodge and Campsites har udsigt over floden og tilbyder indkvartering med have, bar og grillfaciliteter, ca. 38 km fra Nhabe Museum. Nice campsite. Beautiful river view from restaurant. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Clean ablutions.

Sitatunga Campsite Maun er en nyrenoveret campingplads i Maun, hvor gæsterne kan få mest muligt ud af sin tagterrasse med pool, gratis wi-fi, udendørs bad og have. The staff are super friendly and helpful.. we booked the canoe (mokoro) through them which was an amazing experience. Very well organised, the packed lunch was delicious, the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Also the driver who took us to the mokoro place (Lovemore) was super nice. All in all it was a very great experience.

Mankwe Camping ligger i Chiro Pan, 36 km fra nationalparken Mababe Gate Chobe. Campingpladsen har egen indgang og giver gæsterne mulighed for at bevare deres privatliv. The owners/management were very generous in allowing us to use the pool at their resort, which was a different location from the camping area where we stayed. This was a welcome relief, as temperatures reached 42°C on the day that we were there! The campsite was beautiful and we had elephants wandering through in the night! They were very polite and circumnavigated the camp, without entering closer than 15 meters. We also heard hyenas, but they did not bother us. It was a magical evening in the bush!
