Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. After reading some mixed reviews, it exceeded our expectations and I am so happy we planned this into our itinerary. The hotel sent driver information which we shared with our driver and everything was seemless. The safari truck was waiting for us and we did the afternoon safari. The guy was great, really knowledgeable- we were lucky enough to see elephants really close up and many other amazing animals. He then took us to the hotel around 6pm. We had a bbq dinner which was very cute, the food was really good quality too. We booked a sky nest and had a couple of little frog visitors in the bathroom but we didn’t mind, they added to the memories! The sky nest was really clean and more comfortable than we were expecting. WiFi only worked in the main restaurant areas but that’s okay, it was nice to be off the grid for one night. Again, breakfast exceeded our expectations and the hotel liaised with our driver for a smooth pick up. The staff are lovely and I fully recommend for one night if you want a safari and jungle glamping experience.

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We had a great stay with full board. The staff were very helpful. Our kids loved the safari that Yala Wild Hut helped to organize. We also enjoyed having afternoon tea up on the rock with a view. The owner also helped organize very cheap transfers to and from the accomodation.

Some units in the luxury tent have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. Some units have a seating area and/or a terrace with outdoor furniture. At the luxury tent, every unit comes with a private bathroom.

For guests with children, the luxury tent offers an indoor play area and outdoor play equipment. Leopard Safaris Yala has a picnic area and a barbecue. We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely camp and were extremely well looked after by Manu and his capable team. The camp itself was very peaceful and the tented accommodation luxurious. The food was excellent and they catered for my vegan wife brilliantly. The safari drives were very well done and we saw two leopards and a host of other wildlife. A very successful and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The property can arrange for Safari on a private jeep. the treehouse and tent are a perfect place to calm down and enjoy nature. the owner was very involved from the moment we booked, making sure we drove the most efficient way and even picked us up when we arrived in a town nearby. they also took us on safari and went above and beyond making sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. also we enjoyed the bbq dinner (prepared by his son) at their place. truly an unforgettable experience which we highly recommend!

The property has garden views and is 13 km from Tissa Wewa and 23 km from Situlpawwa. Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara is 12 km away and Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Village is 19 km from the luxury tent. When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.
