Location was very good, quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very generous with plenty of options and big portions. Each room is isolated, which gives you a nice break from noisy neighbours and helps you connect to nature.
A giant squirrel occasionally visits the restaurant and guests can feed her.
Also, we received packed breakfasts (very good ones) from the hotel as we were going on a 5am safari.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely camp and were extremely well looked after by Manu and his capable team. The camp itself was very peaceful and the tented accommodation luxurious. The food was excellent and they catered for my vegan wife brilliantly. The safari drives were very well done and we saw two leopards and a host of other wildlife. A very successful and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience in the tree house! Slept like babies (mosquito-/frog-free) thanks to fan and aircon to chose from. Fabulous hosts. We also booked the full-day safari with them which was fantastic.

Not worth the room rent they're charging because it isn't inclusive of the meals (they charged 40$ per person per meal) and these meals have barely any veg options, it's not even a handful of them. Breakfast spread for vegetarians is very minimal.

Great location, very friendly staff and good dinner. We left one night earlier because we were not happy with the state of the accommodation. The level of service, support and understanding we received following our cancellation was excellent and outstanding. Thank you.

The location is great if you want a safari to Yala national park. It’s on the same road close to the entrance and your driver can pick you up at the accommodation or the accommodation also do safari. We had a bonfire and dinner under the stars in the wilderness so exactly what we were looking for. It’s a canvas tent over stone foundations so if that’s what you expect you will love it, don’t expect a hotel. The staff were also very kind and couldn’t do enough for you. If you leave early then they can do a packed breakfast

The cabana itself was absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean and spacious. A rustic setting but with all the convenience of modern facilities (excellent shower/sink/ toilet/ TV etc). Beds were super comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even packed us a picnic breakfast to take on safari and came to help us get a large bug out of our room in the evening.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.

This is an ideal glamping location inside the jungle. Very sustainable property with so much potential. Unfortunately, they have not received good support from the government. The views are amazing. It’s an authentic wildlife experience. Therefore, we should respect the wildlife. Their efforts in providing maximum comfort with lovely treehouses and tents should be really appropriated. Staff are very friendly. Safaris are amazing. Dining experiences are over the moon. We had really wonderful time.

My stay at Leopard Nest Yala Glamping was exceptional. The staff welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home from the start. The guided safari through Yala National Park was unforgettable, especially seeing a leopard in its natural habitat. We stayed in the tented lodge for one night. The lodge is amazing. It is beautifully built, very clean with mosquito nets on every entrance and window. The open air bathroom rounded up the glamping experience. There is electricity and even wifi in the tents. We booked two safaris and one starlight BBQ. The safari organisation went smooth and the guides were really good. The dinner was outstanding and one of our highlights of the whole vacation. The owners are super friendly. Would definately recommend!
Yakaduru Yala offers a remarkable camping experience within Sri Lanka's Yala buffer zone. The standout feature was the exceptional safari they organized, providing a close encounter with the region's diverse wildlife. The enchanting live flute music atop Yakaduru rock during sunset added a unique touch to the serene atmosphere. The campsite's perfect blend of nature, adventure, and cultural elements made it an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking an immersive and harmonious connection with the beauty of Yala.
The staff were extremely hospitable & polite. Even serving tea and snacks for sunset on top of the rock.
