It is a very cool resort but have in mind that it is in the middle of the jungle and you can see all kinds of bugs in your room. Dinner by the bonfire was so pretty and the food was very good.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely camp and were extremely well looked after by Manu and his capable team. The camp itself was very peaceful and the tented accommodation luxurious. The food was excellent and they catered for my vegan wife brilliantly. The safari drives were very well done and we saw two leopards and a host of other wildlife. A very successful and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Great location, very friendly staff and good dinner. We left one night earlier because we were not happy with the state of the accommodation. The level of service, support and understanding we received following our cancellation was excellent and outstanding. Thank you.

The hotel is in a peaceful and remote location out of town with clean and comfortable rooms .Lovely to sit and relax and watch the wildlife on lake and swim in the pool. Our dinner was delicious made with fresh fish caught from the lake in the afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our Host was great and organised the safari and our transport to and from Yala

We stayed in the deluxe room for three nights. The staff were exceptionally attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We took two safaris with Kumara and driver Saminda. Kumara is a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable and worked hard to find the leopards. Saminda is a skilled driver in tough terrain, and he made sure our jeep was in a good position for photographing the wildlife. We were well cared for by the Manager Pasindu who made sure our stay was perfect. We also had fun with Maluean who took amazing photos during our safari.

The owner Priya is an amazing host! He's super friendly and funny. He picked us up from the bus stop, welcomed us and in the evening gave a (free) tour of Lake Tissa, where he could tell us a lot about all the different kind of birds/animals we saw there! Next day we went on an awesome safari for a reasonable price, and saw a lot of wildlife!! Room was very clean and nice, great food. Would 100% recommend this place!

Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

I really enjoyed staying at the river side cabanas for two nights. The location is amazing, directly on the river, with nature around, but also close to bus stations. The dorm had 6 big double beds with mosquito nets and two bathrooms. Also the place to chill out with hammocks downstairs is nice. I’ve done the safari with them, where they also included a drive around the lakes the previous day and dropped me of close to the bus when I left, thank you for that! Lovely family taking care of all that and trying their best to fit all your needs 😄

Early Jan 2024 - very nice place, great value for money, nice communal spaces with hammocks, room very clean and comfortable. They were just reopening after a 1 year closure, pool was being refilled when we arrived. Great views all around, nice to be away from the bustle of other places. Good base for a yala safari. Very hot showers and nice bathroom. It is as good as it looks in the pictures, we would stay again definitely. Local Bat trees, standing stones and archaeological museum all 5 minutes away (by tuktuk).

The property was set in lovely grounds with a nice sized pool. Our room was spacious and cool with a big bathroom with an open ceiling, and we had a nice veranda to sit on for a drink at sunset. The restaurant served western and Sri Lankan food and accommodated my vegan meal requests. They arranged a morning safari for us which was great!
