Loch Eyre Shepherd Hut biedt uitzicht op Loch Eyre en ligt op 11 km van Portree. Deze herdershut biedt toegang tot een eigen toilet in het pension, op 30 meter afstand. In de omgeving kunt u vissen. Very cute stay close to good hikes. Cozy and the private bathroom was more than expected with a shower and inside the main building

Skye Eco Bells is een Eco Glamping-site op het eiland Skye. De 3 huisjes bevinden zich op een terrein buiten het net met individuele vuurkorven en 2 hectare bos. Super comfortabel huisje met sfeervolle haard die ons lekker warm heeft gehouden. De eigenaren kwamen elke dag even langs en waren altijd erg vriendelijk. Heel fijne plek om even volledig tot rust te komen.

Thainstone dome bevindt zich in Lochcarron. De accommodatie ligt op 33 km van Eilean Donan Castle en 37 km van Treinstation Kyle of Lochalsh en biedt gratis privéparkeren. Prachtige plek, grappige varkens. Heerlijk geslapen. Slimme buitenkeuken en badkamer!

Beinn Shieldaig Yurt ligt in Shieldaig en biedt een tuin en een terras. Our first impressions were how cosy the Yurt looked and it really was as some of the nights were quite stormy and rainy but we felt very safe. Everything is very thoughtfully and tastefully put together. Each Yurt has it’s own personal shower/toilet unit which was great and just a short walk away. Our hosts Kenneth and Lisa were very thoughtful and helpful. They were always available if there were any questions.

Birkenshaw - Beautiful Shepherd’s Hut in the Highlands. Bevindt zich in Dornoch, op 7,6 km van Carnegie Club (Skibo Castle) en 8 km van Koninklijke golfclub Dornoch, en biedt een tuin en uitzicht op... What a wonderful place to stay, this was definitely the best accommodation we stayed at after 9 days of Scotland. We enjoyed the view, the cosiness and atmosphere, and the great hospitality. Anne was an amazing host, she was willing to check for us our self-picked Chantarelles from the afternoon and shared with us some herbs and veggies from her garden to complete our dinner cooking. The sunroom was gorgeous with solid cooking facilities. Everything was very authentic. Cast-iron pots and pans, firewood heater, selfmade tea towels. Most of all the attention of detail really finished off the experience. The hut was beautifully made and Anne arranged complimentary self made biscuits, local gin and tonic, marshmallows for roasting over the firewood heater, not even to start about the ornamental attention to detail. Even the selection of books were perfectly fitting with the setting. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

The Wee Lodge heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op ongeveer 41 km van Glenfinnan Station Museum. The pod is sooooo cozy and well equipped. Shower works like a hot charm, bed is super soft and comfortable, there was a nice welcome surprise in the fridge upon arrival, kitchen has everything you need, extensive information map with tips about the surrounding area.

The beach Hut beschikt over uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, een terras en een privéstrand, ongeveer 9 km van Dunvegan Castle. The bed was amazing and they had a book about places to see and try to eat.

Croft of Clune Shepherds Hut ligt in Newtonmore, op 5,5 km van Kingussie Golf Club en 6,2 km van Ruthven Barracks, en biedt uitzicht op de bergen. Viv is a gracious and warm host and her concern for the local community is something heartwarming. The trailers are amazing and the washroom is spic and span. The croft has the best views in the village. The valley falls away in front of you and the hills rise behind. It is spectacular. A 10 min walk from the coop. We did a 6 day Scotland trip, this was the best place we stayed at.
