Located in Beckenried, right at the shore of Lake Lucerne, Superior Hotel Nidwaldnerhof features a lake-view terrace and offers free WiFi access and free garage parking, with each room having its own... We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred. Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Beautiful location high above the valley, yet easy to get to via an aerial tram that departs from the Niederrickenbach train station, a short hop from Lucerne. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent and vegetarian friendly. This is a great starting point for hikes in a gorgeous part of Switzerland - near the hotel, there's a 4 person tram to the Musenalp on the mountain above (https://www.musenalp-nw.ch/bahn/) and it's a 20-30 minute walk to the most unique chairlift I've even encountered (https://haldigrat.ch/). We only stayed two nights - next time we're planning on a longer stay!
