Location was perfect - city center, a lot of restaurants in surroundings, room was clean and silent, staff was very helpfull and friendly.

Set in the western part of Madeira, this brand new accommodation was built on the grounds of an old sugar cane factory. Andrea the receptionist was so sweet and helpful. She guided every day and made a list of things to do. We were checking out early in the morning so they packed a cute picnic basket as well. Beautiful place and it was a great stay.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Amazing place, breathtaking view, calm and quite, tranquility! Teresa is exceptional host! Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Everything from start to finish was everything exceptional. Staff is amazing you are feeling like at home. Breakfast are freshly made by your order. The facilities of the property are truly amazing. We absolutely loved our stay here. The house and gardens are stunning, we particularly enjoyed spending time on the balcony and walking around the banana plantation. The bed was super comfy! Communication was exceptional and they were able to accommodate our early arrival time. Thank you!

Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

The host was great always available and friendly but not over hovering us. Great hosting overall. The house was very tastefully decorated and newly renovated, with a well equipped outside space and even a small pool. Bathroom was very clean and loved the rain shower.
