Caldeira Guesthouse er staðsett í Calheta, 100 metra frá Atlantshafinu, á Azorean São Jorge-eyjunni. I loved everything about this house and my stay here. It is located in an absolutely beautiful place and the green colors surrounding it is something that has to be seen in person as pictures does not do it justice. The house has amazing views, my room was nice and clean and had a very comfortable bed and I had the best night of sleep I have had in a long time. I opted to have breakfast and dinner the two days I was there and both were great and you got to meet and talk to the other people that was staying there. The staff was lovely and David was very helpful and welcoming. This place made me feel so at peace and happy and it did wonders to my soul. The hikes in the area was amazing with spectacular views and to just sit and watch and listen to the ocean brought me so much joy. I did not want to leave and I actually had a chance to get a free ride to the airport but chose not to take it so I could stay an hour and half longer and I'm not a rich person and normally conservative with money. It was so worth it.

Thirstly, the house is clean, the room is big, and the kitchen is equipped very well. The host is an intelligent and kind person, speaks English well, and he provided us with good advice about the island and sights. Also, he helped us to rent a car. Absolutely recommended!

Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. I'm coming back to Jardim do Triângulo next time I come to São Jorge.

The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.
