We were especially impressed by the thoughtfulness of the cleaning staff and reception. Little gestures like chocolates on the pillow and sweets at the entrance made a difference, making us feel welcome and as though we were spending time in a family home—unlike other places. The local treats, apples, coffee, and tea available throughout the day were a nice, thoughtful addition. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the view of the port from our room was very nice. We enjoyed waking up to the gentle sound of church bells in the morning, and the refreshing little terrace was perfect for relaxing. The breakfast, which was included, was truly delicious and a great way to start the day. We can’t wait to come back!

The place is exciting, really comfortable, and cozy. Thirstly, the house is clean, the room is big, and the kitchen is equipped very well. The host is an intelligent and kind person, speaks English well, and he provided us with good advice about the island and sights. Also, he helped us to rent a car. Absolutely recommended!

Chris was impeccable, knows the island very well. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. I'm coming back to Jardim do Triângulo next time I come to São Jorge.

El Cantinho está situado en las montañas de la isla de San Jorge y ofrece una terraza amueblada con piscina de borde infinito y bañera de hidromasaje. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.
