Arnold is superhost, knowledgable, reliable and will make your holiday just perfect. I suggest takling breakfast there too, its nice and comfy to eat there. Lamu has a lot to offer and its amazing place for holiday, authentic and special. We loved our stay, locatipon is great too!!!!

Situated within 500 metres of Manda Beach and 500 metres of Shela Beach in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. Excellent stay. Lovely authentic design, super sweet staff (shout out to Amani for always helping out with a big smile), and I LOVE the idea of the tea hour, as well as the wonderful fresh homemade breakfast. We will be back!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport, which was a delightful short boat ride and felt very VIP. Staff was very professional, helpful and above all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel grounds feel like a little quiet oasis, so if you don't feel like doing much you can just spend the morning at the pool.

The breakfast is absolutely delicious and thoughtful in every way. The recommendations are incredible and just the overall care for each and every guest is remarkable. Boasting quiet street views, Al-reidy House offers accommodation with terrace, around a few steps from Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. The location was perfect, closer to places one could take good meals. The view of the ocean from the balcony was great

Situated in Shela, Shela Bahari features a restaurant and sea views, 100 metres from Manda Beach and 300 metres from Shela Beach. Set on the beachfront, this property has a shared lounge. The pictures don’t do the property any justice. My room had the perfect view for the purple hues of the sunset. The food, room, location was perfect. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very inviting. I felt like I was at a family home instead of a hotel….the intimacy of the hotel was peaceful.
