Arnold is superhost, knowledgable, reliable and will make your holiday just perfect. I suggest takling breakfast there too, its nice and comfy to eat there. Lamu has a lot to offer and its amazing place for holiday, authentic and special. We loved our stay, locatipon is great too!!!!

Situated within 500 metres of Manda Beach and 500 metres of Shela Beach in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. The staff were so helpful and attentive. Amani was a wonderful host and thoughtfully took care of every detail. He even offered to come and get me in town if I was lost and needed help finding my way. The spice cake at tea time was also a highlight❤️

With sea views, Andavelo House is located in Lamu and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, sun terrace and year-round outdoor pool. Safari was amazing, both as a guide and a host. He went over and above to help organize activities across the duration of our stay. And the cuisine was wonderful.

Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Wonderful experience! We spontaneously decided to visit Lamu and came across Subira’s house. The team organized an amiable boat driver who brought us to the house. Once we arrived we were welcomed by Mohammed, who showed us the building and our room. The atmosphere and hospitality of the staff are so friendly and warm, which made us very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing - try the moringa omelette! The rooms were very cute and spacious and we had a beautiful outdoor patio which was perfect to wind down in the evening. The team is very connected to the town and can help with any requests such as organizing a Henna Designer or finding great restaurants. We were so happy with the decision to visit this beautiful town and the Subira house, which is perfectly located! We hope that the house will remain like it is and will find a lovely new owner!

Boasting quiet street views, Al-reidy House offers accommodation with terrace, around a few steps from Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. The room was nice, with a balcony, although there was a small bathroom, it was everything we needed. They remove the rubbish so that was nice. It had a mosquito net and a fan. The host was very nice, he offered to meet us at the dock.

Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.
