In the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter district of Kurashiki, close to Shinkeien Garden, 滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado has free WiFi and a washing machine. The room is huge and very comfortable! It looks a bit dark on the photos, but it's so much better then that! It's right in the center of the old village, but you won't hear anything from the outside really. The seating area is really nice and we loved the provided breakfast. The kitchen is beautiful and convenient as well. The bathroom is really spacious.

Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. Very well designed facilities. The shower room has two showers so a family or couple can use it at the same time, and the bath is big. Beautiful view. Peaceful location.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. Very traditional and homey place, yuki is a wonderful host, and gave me the feeling I’m at home. My sleep was the best i had so far, the futon was very comfortable. Yuki also gave me a ride from the train station, that was really helpful

Situated within 200 metres of Tanukian Bunko Art Museum and 600 metres of Houkancho Shopping Street, ゲストハウス MEETS 岡山 offers rooms in Okayama. Very nice and helpful host. The place was great, the room was spacious and pleasant. It had a Japanese ambiance and was comfortable. There were toiletries available for use (towels were not included) and you could use the washing machine. There also were an airconditioner, a hairdryer and earplugs available for use. Perfect for a calm and peaceful stay. I'd definitely go here again!

Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊

Situated within 21 km of Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine and 22 km of Kyobashi no Kyokyakuato, Uno Port Inn offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tamano. I would like to thank Long for his support and help. He is not only a professional worker but also a very kind man. He made the stay at this hotel really heartwarming. I also liked that you get an explanation about how to get around in Naoshima, a timetable of the ferry etc. when checking in. It is very thought. Generally, it is a small cozy hotel to stay in when visiting the islands. I highly recommend.
