In the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter district of Kurashiki, close to Shinkeien Garden, 滔々 倉敷民藝館南の宿 toutou, Mingeikan Minami no Yado has free WiFi and a washing machine. This room was so beautiful! I would move in :) The attention to detail here is insane. Highly recommended.

Situated in remote island of Shiraishi, Shiraishi Island International Villa offers accommodation surrounded by nature. Everything! The place is beautiful, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful lounge area, and a great deck for a barbeque or relaxing in the sun. Muya is a great person, he will help you with everything you need. The Island is also beautiful and has many hiking trails, some starting right outside the villa. I would definitely like to come back again.

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. The owners of the place were really nice, and the guest house was well equipped and had good facilities.

Set within 1.1 km of Hourseshoe Crab Museum and 4.3 km of Kasaoka Sun Plaza, オーベルジュ美の浜 流石 provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasaoka. This little hotel which I mainly booked to break up our driving journey between destinations turned out to be a little gem. It was quaint clean and had a beautiful traditional Japanese garden outlook from our room and the best dinner we had in Japan. The food was top notch and so delicious it melted in your mouth. Definitely book the meal option 😊

Nestled in the beautiful countryside, Okayama Hostel Igusa is a traditional 50-year old Japanese-style home that has been renovated into a guesthouse. Very close to the station. Quiet nice and lovely stay. Allowed me to use the common room up until 12 pm. That was so lovely. If I ever visit Okayama again, I will choose this stay again.
