Located in Gojō, お宿さつき奈良五條 is a recently renovated accommodation, 29 km from Subaru Hall and 37 km from Tanpi Shrine. This guest house provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Best host ever! Shogo made so many excellent suggestions that Gojo became one of our favorite stops on a multi-week Japanese visit. His accommodation, in an atmospheric, traditional part of town, was clean, well organized and super comfortable. Our room on the second floor had a fabulous view out to the mountains that was a joy to wake up to. The shared kitchen downstairs had everything we needed for eating in or making coffee. The river walk park was a great way to get up or gear down every day. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Shogo, for a wonderful stay.

Friendly and hospitality, that is all I can talk about the owner, when we stay in this homestay, I feel like in my home with the warmer spaces, we have talking together about personal trip, travel and all things in this world. Even when my friend have a a trouble with her heath, they help me to find hospital and call the taxi during the bad weather effect by big typhoons. We have heard all kind of music in that typhoon night. How the beautiful memories, I will go back again if I have chance. Love Tsubame House and Nara Prefecture.

We had a great stay at Slow House, great location, very clean and fantastic staff. We were able to stay longer on short notice and had a great time in Nara with everything a short walk away from the hotel

A 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, Guest House Oku is located a 15-minute walk from JR Nara station. Guest House Oku features a total of 3 guest rooms and free WiFi throughout the property. Yoko is the greatest host! She welcomes you with a warm heart, as soon as you arrive she can put you at easy, ready for a laugh and to establish a genuine connection. We spent a memorable evening with her and another guest. The location is central, in a quite area and close to good a bakery and lovely cafés. We spent one night in the twin room, where I could sleep in the most comfortable bed ever. I would definitely go back. Grazie Yoko 🤍

Jin is a recently renovated guest house in Oyodo, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. It is situated 29 km from Subaru Hall and provides a 24-hour front desk.

Offering river views, 吉野長屋 is an accommodation set in Yoshino, 42 km from Tanpi Shrine and 43 km from Mihara History Museum. Very spacious and well appointed for large group. All the facilities were clean and worked well. It was close to the road up to Mt Yoshino. Appreciated the welcome by our host.

Fukubatake is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Yoshino, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property is away from town and very quiet and peaceful, allowing for a good night's rest. The included breakfast was home cooked and piping hot - vegetable soup, potato omelette, salad, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and home baked bread, butter and jam, coffee or tea. There is hot water, coffee, tea, and biscuity snacks available downstairs 24/7. There are just 2 rooms, both upstairs, in traditional Japanese style - tatami and futon. The hosts are both charming, and extremely helpful, picking up from the nearest station and helping me changing my train ticket. I will stay there again if I come back to Yoshino.

Offering free bikes and garden view, Niwamori_org is situated in Nara, 23 km from Iwafune Shrine and 25 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium. I really enjoyed the traditional Japanese home and space. I also enjoyed the host, Jerome, showing me the garden and allowing me to pick vegetables with him to cook. The place is well stocked with needed amenities, and the host did a great job explaining how it all works. Next time I'm in Japan I will try to come back to Nara just to stay here!
