The room was very clean and spacious, and the hotel was conveniently located (just 10 minutes’ walk from the Gonoura ferry pier; 5 minutes’ walk from the majority of restaurants and bars). The host was extremely lovely and hospitable, a perfect example of Japanese “Omotenashi”. The breakfast was outstanding!

The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

Nastanitev ゲストハウスのスタジオ５１ se nahaja v mestu Sasebo, 35 km od znamenitosti tematski park Huis Ten Bosch, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Breakfast was delicious and the host was very friendly, recommended a lot of touristic spots!

Nastanitev 島宿糸 se nahaja v Ikiju in ponuja brezplačen WiFi, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter bar. Nastanitev je klimatizirana in ima masažno kad. The friendliness and availability of the 2 owners, the food (amazing for the 2 dinners we had: 1 French, 1 Japanese). We had an upgrade in a huge room/suite which was super appreciated. We had a great time !!!

Nastanitev Guest House「さごんヴィレッジ」 se nahaja v mestu Tsushima. Ponudba vključuje restavracijo, skupno kuhinjo in sobno postrežbo, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi v celotni nastanitvi. One day, soon I hope, I'll be able to be fluent enough with my Japanese to review places like this one. Nevertheless, still not the case. :'( This place could be described with one world: fabulous. Really, totally, incredibly fabulous. When the bus left me in the middle of nowhere, when I crossed a town slowly, without population to carry out its history, when I found out that the school before the guesthouse was in fact the guesthouse (yeah, should have checked /o), I was as excited as afraid. That was for naught though. Understanding the village his population and history, helps a lot understanding the place. Without children to study in it, the school was closed around 10 years ago, and then repaired, treated with a lot of love and respect until the result you will find there: a cosy, comfortable, clean and warm place run by a bunch of adorable people, always there for advices, recommendations and useful tips. Sleeping alone (not many visitors there !) in this huge empty school may seem a little gloomy and scary (some horror movie vibes ?), you will soon forget about it while enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the school, while meeting the villagers and the workers at the tea farm nearby (which were the reason why I went there the first place) and while enjoying the delicious food provided by the hosts (on certain days). These few days were the last of a fantastic month of holidays I spent in Kyushu. Staying there was one of the best ideas I had for sure! お世話になりました!

Nastanitev Tsushima White House je v mestu Tsushima v regiji Nagasaki in nudi brezplačen WiFi, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter dostop do vroče kopeli. Kota and Sachi (the hosts) were incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful. Had great conversations with them. Room was warm and tidy. Excellent local restaurant and bar recommendations. E-bike rental service was provided with recommendations on where to visit, how long you'd need etc. Would definitely recommend! 👌

Nastanitev Yukinoura Guest House Moritaya se nahaja v mestu Saikai, 38 km od znamenitosti Park miru, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter skupni prostor za druženje. Staff was incredibly friendly and treated us very well. It was a pleasure to talk with everyone. The whole place felt like home. I would definitely visit again!

Nastanitev Private House Mariage maison se nahaja v Gotoju, 19 min hoje od znamenitosti Fukue Catholic Church in 2,2 km od znamenitosti Jotobana, ter nudi sobe s klimatsko napravo in z zasebno... The place is very clean and comfy, with all the facilities you’d need. We were worried about transportation on the island and other logistical issues, but our host is so lovely and helpful. We can’t be luckier to have her!

Located in Goto Islands, a 3-hour ferry ride from Sasebo in Nagasaki, Shimayado Goen offers cosy accommodation with Japanese-style rooms fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Warm staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Clean and cosy room. Great location, within walking distance from the port on flat land. Bicycle available.

Nastanitev TSUDOI guest house se nahaja v okrožju Unzen Onsen (Unzen), 47 km od znamenitosti Muzej zgodovine Nagasaki, in ponuja sobe s klimatsko napravo. The host is incredibly kind and informative, the accommodation was comfortable and the value for what you get is very much worth it. Would book again.
