The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

島宿糸 provides a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Iki. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The host made us fell at home and were the nicest person. Their food is very tasty, some of the best eating we've had. The house itself is beautiful and autentic. Thank you so much for hosting us!

E-bike rental service was provided with recommendations on where to visit, how long you'd need etc. Would definitely recommend! 👌

Staff was incredibly friendly and treated us very well. It was a pleasure to talk with everyone. The whole place felt like home. I would definitely visit again!

The place is very clean and comfy, with all the facilities you’d need. We were worried about transportation on the island and other logistical issues, but our host is so lovely and helpful. We can’t be luckier to have her!

Situated within 47 km of Nagasaki Museum of History and 48 km of Nagasaki Station, TSUDOI guest house features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Unzen. Very pleasant stay in Tsudoi. The location is great very close to the bus and close to nice hiking routes. The staff was super nice and we had a lot of fun together. Best stay of my visit to Japan so far.

We really enjoyed our stay at GardenRoom BNB Yumyum. Previously in Japan we had only stayed in generic hotels so it was nice to stay somewhere with more character. The owners are very friendly and kind. They speak a little English so with the help of Google translate you can get by. We were happy with the location, it was walkable to most places, there was a 7-11 a few minutes away and it was close to a tram stop. We liked the room, the bed was comfortable, there was aircon, a fridge and kettle etc (we stayed in one of the western style rooms). We usually avoid shared bathrooms but they were clean and we had no issues even on a night where the BNB was busy. The breakfast was a real highlight. It is Japanese style and was completely different every day, so it allowed us to try a lot of different things as there would always be 3 or 4 ramekins of small items, a soup, a salad, and a main dish. It was also very substantial as there was always bread and rice freely available to go with it, You could help yourself to coffee and water, and tea is available if you prefer. We would be very happy if everywhere we stayed in Japan was like this.

The house is spacious and comfortable and because it’s the house passed from his grandfather, it’s full of authentic Japanese vibe.
