The hosts are so nice and welcoming. The decoration is great. The sea view is stunning. You even have a room with a micro wave when you can snack if need be. Several shops around and great places to eat. It is close to a bus stop too and in 30 min you are in Naze the capital. There is a place closeby where you can have a massage too. We absolutly loved it. Thank you so much.

Guests can stay warm with a fireplace in every unit. Every unit is fitted with a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, while certain rooms have a fully equipped kitchen. The units are equipped with heating facilities. We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available, and guests can unwind in a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. I loved this place. It’s a beautiful house, beautifully located next to the lake, close to restaurants, close to a busstop. Mainly: the hosts are incredibly friendly ♥️ order the breakfast you wont regret. They can make it vegetarian on request.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. It has a lounge with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, as well as a shared kitchen. Satomi-san is the best woman! She was so nice and friendly with everybody, she creates special atmosphere of this place. She made me onigiri for hiking, but they were so big, that I finished just one. I’m so sorry…😬 When I have just arrived to Tomarigi, I was a bit sad and tired, but in the end of my stay it was like to live in a family. Can’t wait to come back and see Satomi-san again 🙃
