We arrived quite late in the evening and were ravnenous. When we checked the menu, it seemed like there were only meat options. However when the staff spke to us and realised we needed alternative options, they were very quick to make the arrangements for us. In addition, we needed an early morning taxi to catch our train so they made the necessary arrangements for us and even served us coffee for breakfast, even though their kitchen was still closed.

I really like the room and care the staff give and I felt they were always available if needed. I had the private room which was nice and the location was not too far from where I needednto go around Sapporo.

Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is situated just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. The host was very nice, and spoke in simple Japanese to accommodate me. He was extremely cheerful and helpful. My friend and I felt very welcome, and spent a lovely night in the tatami room.
