The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

Yoshie was super welcoming and made the guest house feel like home. The shared space is quite small so it was easy to talk to other guests, which was the highlight of my stay. Surrounded by serene pasture and vegetable fields, Pension Megumiyuki is situated just a 4-minute drive from Biei Station. The host was very nice, and spoke in simple Japanese to accommodate me. He was extremely cheerful and helpful. My friend and I felt very welcome, and spent a lovely night in the tatami room.
