We had a fantastic time at Cheeky Monkeys. The staff were incredibly kind, and it was wonderful to hang out with them in the common area. They were also very helpful with everything we needed. Our jungle trekking experience with them was absolutely awesome! Huge thanks to all the guides at Cheeky Monkeys. We highly recommend staying here; the rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the garden is simply astonishing.

They helped booking a tour and a driver to Medan. Location is beautiful, WIFI is very good, big beds with good matrasses, big living room, very nice terrace with great view, good breakfast, water for free, only 9 mins walk from harbour

Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe er staðsett í litla þorpinu Bukit Lawang á Sumatra-svæðinu. Þetta boutique-gistirými er staðsett við hliðina á Bohorok-ánni og á móti Mount Leuser-þjóðgarðinum. As a solo traveler traveling in low season, I expected there might be some inconveniences. however, the staffs of Kupukupu helped me to overcome all the difficulties, planning and arranging my trips well with good value. I also like the cookings from their kitchen. You need to order dinner in the morning then they can buy fresh food in the day and cook the dishes well. I tried some other restaurant with high rating in the village, unfortunately, their food are not fresh at all. I really appreciate the Kupu Kupu kitchen prepares the dishes with heart, even for one single guest.

Batu Kapal Guest House & Jungle trekking býður upp á gistirými í Bukit Lawang við ána Landark með útsýni yfir Leuser-þjóðgarðinn. Staff is amazing, food is great and also the location which is deeper in the jungle. Only accessible by motorbike, but the staff is super flexible and take you up and down to the town whenever you want (not needed and not expected but we tipped them a bit every time). We saw so many orangutans with them! Even when taking the trip to the batcave, but I think we were lucky. Would definitely recommend Batu Kapal!
