This was our first place we stayed in our trip through Wales and we felt like being on vacation right away. The house, garden and the room were gorgeous and dreamy and had lots of little things on display that reflected not just wales but also the hosts character. Catherine and Howard payed a lot of attention in detail when it came to decorating and also their service as hosts. Freshly cooked and diverse breakfast and lovely chats :) When returning to wales, we will come back!

Ty Castell Guest House is situated in Caerphilly, 13 km from University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus, 13 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, as well as 14 km from Cardiff Castle. Great location close to the town with car parking spaces. Steve was very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and twin beds comfortable. Kettle with plenty of tea/coffee, and free small bottles of water. Excellent value for money.
