We especially liked the ultra-modern shower with precise temperature controls! As Americans accustomed to air conditioning, the little A/C was really nice to have as well! There's a beautiful little garden out back, and it's only a 5-10 minute walk to town.

Our stay in the Sugar Loaf suite was delightful from start to finish. The approach to this imposing stately home is stunning, as are the gardens and surrounding mountains. Our 3-room suite (bedroom, sitting room, enormous bath) was beautifully decorated, with obvious thought given to guests’ every comfort. If you love antiques, 4-poster beds, floral chintz and a large claw foot soaking tub, this is for you! Views from windows on 3 sides, even from the tub. A balcony from which to enjoy the perfectly manicured gardens. Wonderful breakfasts! (Dinners by special arrangement and highly recommended.). Best of all: the hosts, Harry and Nicola. They will attend to your every wish, and they have wonderful stories to tell of championship equestrian competition and of Nicola’s father, an internationally famous cricketer.

The hosts did everything they could to help us have an amazing stay for a wedding which we had down the road. The breakfast was also great with lovely fresh fruit and pastries and the grounds around the house were stunning. I love that it’s filled with the hosts artwork and sculptures. We’re already planning a trip back but this time to do a bit of walking and exploring. Couldn’t recommend more!

Sergeants Accommodation ligger i Nelson, 27 km fra Cardiff University, 29 km fra University of South Wales - Cardiff Campus og 29 km fra Motorpoint Arena Cardiff. Lovely managers and lovely place to stay at. It was really interesting to hear a bit about the place, and about the family business. We got a lovely room, with a well equipped with kitchenette. The bathroom was ensuite and very large. Everything was extremely clean.
