Offering garden views, Pousada Rural Simpatia in Caculi provides accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The staff was super friendly! It was also nice to participate to this project that empowers local women. The beds were nicely made and clean, the wifi is good, and in the kitchen everything is at your disposal.. We received a late evening snack and a very nice breakfast while enjoying the beautiful mountain view from the garden, in which you can choose the herbs you like to make an infusion <3

Located in Paul, Kasa d'Vizin offers accommodation with seating area. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This is a great place in the heart of the Paul Valley. The view from the roof terrace is breathtaking, as is the food which is served there every evening. The owners and the staff are very friendly and willing to help with everything. We had a great stay here!

Very nice, family owned, place to stay. Good location for the main trails (cova and xoxo). Shops and restaurant are very close. New building, comfortable room. You wake up early with the light and noise, but this is normal everywhere in the island and is good to start your walk on time ;) Breakfast is great, every morning a different option. Great to start the day. João is a very friendly host, who will help you arrange and plan everything you need, we will be back!

Casa Das Ilhas is located in Paul. All rooms includes a private bathroom fitted with a shower. You can enjoy mountain view from the rooms. At Casa Das Ilhas you will find a garden and a terrace. Amazing experience! You feel right at home in the very heart of the amazing Vale do Paúl!! Kate is a great host: speaks all languages possible (😀), has all the guests dinner together and has a thorough knowledge of the entire island, giving great tips for hikes and restaurants! Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!

Offering a restaurant, Casa Cavoquinho is located in Paul Valley, in Cabo de Ribeira. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. The best part about Casa Cavoquinho is the location! Waking up to a view of the Paúl Valley is indescribable and so beautiful to experience. It’s like something out of a film. A true gem. You’re also close to some great hikes. The rooms are a bit more simple, but the property is clean and well-maintained. Great service and communication from the staff all around. The breakfast and dinner they serve is also delicious. I would come back here and recommend this place to friends.

Located in Seladinha, Casa Saúde provides accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can enjoy sea views. Perfection in every way. Jörg and Djenna made our 5 nights the very best they could be, the accomodation is a perfect tranquil getaway and the town of Tarrafal and its people makes for such a welcoming corner of the island. It was sad to leave!

Set in Seladinha in the Santo Antao region, Casa Praia Tarrafal de Monte Trigo features a garden. All rooms come with a terrace with sea views and free WiFi. At the guest house, units have a wardrobe.... Casa Praia has a perfect location right at the Atlantic Ocean. We had an attractive room, not large and minimally furnished, but everything we needed was there. All very clean and well maintained. The place has only two guest rooms and a wonderfully sheltered communal outdoor area (and kitchen) with sea views. We were lucky that we were the only guests and therefore had the casa to ourselves for the entire day. Manager Jörg is super friendly and communicates quickly and efficiently. He knows a lot about Tarrafal and the surrounding area. You can also contact him to arrange transport (boat, taxi, etc.). Breakfast was more than sufficient in quantity, although we would have appreciated a little more variety in fruit. And maybe something like yogurt with muesli and/or cornflakes... That said, what do you expect in a place 'at the end of the world', so no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!

Located in Ribeira Grande, Casa Familiar Pôr do Sol features accommodation with seating area. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. A nice location with the most beautiful view of the mountains. Nice rooms and a nice Hangout place with the most beautiful view. The people are super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!

Situated in Ponta do Sol, Casa BB&Djassi features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. With sea views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The accommodation is non-smoking. Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back.
