Very good communication. They helped with everything. Breakfast and dinner are superb. Airport transfer, laundry service. The location is in a little village with 2 little supermarkets and 1 small restaurant. People here know each other and are very friendly.

Objekat B&B "Villa Alegria", Tarrafal, koji je smešten u gradu Tarrafal, na 4 min. Location close to Tarrafal beach. Breakfast was very good. Mini fridge refilled every day for no extra cost was so so thoughtful, plus the bottle of wine to welcome us. The bathroom had shower gels, perfumes, shampoo, cotton buds, hair dryer, body lotion... it was all about great extras at this B&B. The place is also quiet and very relaxing. Irène is such a nice person, she organized a fishing trip for us. She was always offering great advice about literally anything 😄 and we can confirm her advice were worth it. Thanks again Irene and stay the same!

Authentic village life at its best! Tugged away from the rest of the world, Ja opened a room of her ancestor's home to guests who would like to experience what it's like to live in Cape Verdian raw country side - which includes being offline, taking cold showers with a bucket and a mug, sleeping in pin drop silence (apart from the roosters), walking in the steep hills, etc. One can go with a shared taxi until the roundabout of Sao Domingos. From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

Stayed in room 2 which is amazingly restored with air conditioning, lots of natural light from those 3 large windows, French balcony, ocean view, and a very modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Internet was perfect during my entire stay. Enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso coffee in the lobby. Excellent airport transfers and a half day tour to a nearby historic town and fort were arranged by the owner at minimal cost. The location of the property was excellent and breakfast was easy to obtain about 50 meters up the street at a delightful cafe again at low cost. Enjoyed lunches, dinners and cold beers at the many restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance of the guesthouse. Eddy is an exceptional host and very knowledgeable about everything in Cape Verde. He brings staying at this accommodation to another level. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Cape Verde and would without hesitation recommend Eddy to suggest/arrange any tours in this beautiful country.

This is such a great find, a beautiful cool colonial house with tall ceilings and immaculately clean. Right in the historic center. The host was really responsive and the house is really comfortable, the room stays cool during the hot humid days, a real bargain for the price considering the beauty of the house and the details of the rooms. Cute little kitchen for shared use as well as a nice little walled patio out back. A great find in Praia! I changed hotels from the hotel Santa Maria and was so much better here.
