It is difficult to know where to begin! From arrival we felt welcomed. The hotel is well designed, the rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are so many little touches to make it feel you’ve arrived to stay with family or friends. Our host Irene is enthusiastic and super helpful. Offering suggestions and help for every travel question (and we had many)!! Breakfast was ample and covered all the bases as to offerings that were fresh and yummy! Our airport transfers went smoothly. Excellent drivers in both directions. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our days here and highly recommend Casa Alegria as a great base to visit the northern end of Santiago.

Very big apartment with 360 view (4 balconies). Very clean. Owners and staff are extremely friendly. Very good communication. They helped with everything. Breakfast and dinner are superb. Airport transfer, laundry service. The location is in a little village with 2 little supermarkets and 1 small restaurant. People here know each other and are very friendly.

Die Besitzerin finanziert ein Projekt das kapverdische Kinder unterstützt.

Er war während unserem Aufenthalt in Tarrafal jederzeit per Handy erreichbar und hat uns auch nach dem Aufenthalt Fragen zu Taxi- und Aluguerpreisen beantwortet, was uns einige Touristenabzocken erspart hat. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. In der Unterkunft hat es alles was man braucht und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuss den Strand sowie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Vielen Dank Alcino

Kazarão di Mavete feels modern inside, newly renovated, and appears historic on the outside. It is located in the wonderful area of Praia with a lovely view of the city port, a few minutes away on foot from the main attractions of the central Praia.

We didn't realize bathroom were shared but it was clean and didn't bother us.

This house is splendid, the staff is adorable, super welcoming, warm. You just feel like home. I was worried at first as my room was near the reception, but I wasn't bother by any noise, neither from inside nor outside. My single room was so cute and beautifully decorated that it felt like a little nest. Let alone the perfect location with everything available at a walking distance.

But even before arrival, communication related to airport pickup was clear and helpful. The room was perfect, and everyone was kind and helpful. Particularly Carla, the manager. I had an unfortunate reaction (allergic) to something I ate, and the kindness, assistance and concern expressed by all staff was far beyond our expectations. We would happily return to this lovely small hotel. It felt like home.
