The owners were really kind and accommodating, from bringing us food for the kids when we arrived really late to borrowing the thermometer when one of the kids got sick. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. We would definitely return on our next trips.

Room was clean and functional. Pool and facilities exceptional. Breakfast was included and very scrumptious. On site iguanas 🦎, sloths 🦥 and frogs.

200 metres from Negra, Casa Mambo is a recently renovated property located in Cahuita and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We had a lovely stay at Casa Mambo. The room was super comfortable and clean, with fabulous internet and AC! Parking was easy and convenient. All the staff were super kind and helpful. The proximity to Playa Negra is perfect. My stay was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again!

Situated in Cahuita, 14 km from Puerto Viejo, Cabinas Nirvana Ecolodge boasts an outdoor pool and sun terrace. What a beautiful area! Our favorite part of our vacation. The kids loved the beach for the waves. The wildlife was amazing. It is not everywhere in Costa Rica that you have howler monkeys and agoutis and so much wildlife so close. Look high in the trees for iguanas. The breakfast was awesome. We had a huge porch that was perfect for outdoor living. Love love love.

It was a pleasure to stay at Brigitte's Ranch. The people working there love to show you the sloths and colourfull frogs at te terrain. You can walk to the Reggae bar in a minute to grab a beer and there are hammocks at the accomodation. We also did the Night Tour by Brigitte's, which we really reccommend! You will see plenty of frogs, snakes, beautifull insects and mammals.

Wow great little gem outside Cahuita. Staff very friendly. Easy access to town and beaches. Loved the pool and the gardens.
