The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious, there was housekeeping every day. The restaurant was closed while we were visiting, but breakfast was served each morning and the bar was open for delicious cocktails until late. They even offered us a free drink for our honeymoon and left a beautiful bouquet in our room.

Host was brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a tour booked early one day and he made sure we had breakfast before it even though it was outside of the usual breakfast times. Room was nice and air conditioned and bed was comfy

Oceanfront Hotel La Diosa ligger i Cahuita, 10 minutters kørsel fra nationalparken og blot 3 minutters gang fra den største strand i området Playa Grande. Meget hyggeligt, stille og roligt sted. Dejligt poolområde, tæt på stranden. Super venligt personale. Ved første øjekast lidt langt fra byen, men man kan sagtens gå derind. Ok restauranter tæt på.

Marfi Inn har egen italiensk restaurant, have og gratis WiFi overalt. Det ligger 200 m fra Playa Blanca og strandene Playa Negra. Joseph the owner has been great!! We were travelling with our family, the apartment was confortable, clean and nice , we also had kitchen which was very helpful with kids and fridge. In the apartment we found Europe plug to change our Phone etc.. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Fresh fruits every day(local fruit) Eggs, hambre Coffee.. Also they have a few table games for kids. She also helped out with our Phone.. we had problem with our sim card and she was so kind to sort out the problem:)) Near by the public transportation, we arrive from San Jose with Mepe bus and took another bus to Puerto Viejo. Near by supermarket, and 5 minutes to the National Park of Cahuita, and 10 minutes from playa negra. We strongly reccomend this place!! Safe, clean, confortable. Grazie for everything;)
