We are glad we have stopped by after a hike near Santis!

El Alte Metzg - Boutique Pension se encuentra en Appenzell, en la región de Appenzell Innerrhoden, a 200 metros del Museo de Appenzell. Ofrece habitaciones familiares y terraza. Beautifully renovated, very clean, and location is amazing! The common use of the large kitchen, living room and patio was great, we shared with a large family who occupied multiple rooms, and everyone was friendly and respectful. We loved our stay at Alte Metzg more than at other hotels on our travels!

El Landhaus an der Thur ofrece vistas a la montaña y se encuentra en Alt Sankt Johann, a 300 metros de Alt St. Johann-Sellamatt. Beautiful area, and the property was very nice. Check in could not have been easier. The property owners were so kind and helpful. Overall, I recommend!

El Gasthaus Fuchsacker, situado a 2 km de Degersheim y a 24 km de Appenzell, ofrece un restaurante y conexión wifi gratis. The location was fantastic and the people really warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for families with kids and those wanting a relaxing holiday.

The host Lukas is passionate about the service he provides. The property has been purpose built to be a B&B so has many little touches that makes it a home away from home, with a sunny lounge and bar area for guests to relax, enjoy a drink and a chat. The rooms are modern and well appointed, sparkling clean and the breakfast is gourmet, fresh and locally sourced. My husband wasn’t feeling well and Lukas was very accommodating, which we appreciated greatly. Lukas has an Atelier with handmade, gourmet goodies his brother & he have crafted. Location was great 2mins walk to the train station or 3mins into town.

The location is exceptional, one a one lane road in the mountains of Appenzell. It was mid April but we had a lot of snow every day, but the roads were plowed and the hotel is very accessible, even in poor weather. The hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The food is excellent and they cooked two unique Swiss items for us that were not on the menu. The staff is exceptional.

El Bären - Das Gästehaus está situado a 1 km del centro de Gais, cerca del lago de Constanza. Fabulous little hotel with super friendly and helpful service, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Beautiful location with wonderful views.

El Landgasthaus Neues Bild, está rodeado de colinas y montañas y es un alojamiento de gestión familiar ubicado en un edificio histórico, a 10 minutos en auto del centro de Appenzell. The hotel was fabulous, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was the best we had in all of Switzerland. If you are into hiking this is the hotel for you. We give our stay two thumbs up!
