We were warmly welcomed and dinner was prepared for us (although we had forgotten to book it). During breakfast and dinner we had very nice conversations with the owner Chimney, which were of great value for the rest of the trip. As an experienced guide from the Chobe region, Chimney was able to give us lots of tips and suggestions. Thanks to his good network, he was also able to spontaneously organise various activities such as a boat trip and a horse riding excursion. I can highly recommend this new accommodation, even if it is in a somewhat rural area. It was perfect for me and my friends as the location allowed us to visit both the north and south of Chobe National Park.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house provides a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has one of the most tranquil environments ever. Outstanding gardens, clean pools, clean rooms, air conditioning, the breakfast was an added bonus and you can also order dinner. The host is extremely amazing and kind. You can book a variety of activities through the hotel and they all worth it. The activity guides are well informed and extremely kind.

I traveled to 8 countries in Africa, but this backpackers with air conditioning in the dormitory room was the first and it was special. The entire Backpackers was extra clean and the kitchen facilities were very good. The staff were also kind. Stayed very comfortably.

The entire time of our stay, Connie was making sure we were comfortable and happy. We arrived very early in the morning and Connie let us check in without problems. She was always around to have lovely chat, the room was perfect, even small things like putting documentaries about Chobe national park, while she heard us getting ready for the game drive made us feel really comfortable. Connie was so nice and hospitable, that I regretted we didn't come earlier to stay longer.. Unfortunately, we had to proceed to Francistown. I fully recommend POVI Holiday home
