The manager and owner of the accommodation was exceptionally helpful and service orientated. We were warmly welcomed and dinner was prepared for us (although we had forgotten to book it). During breakfast and dinner we had very nice conversations with the owner Chimney, which were of great value for the rest of the trip. As an experienced guide from the Chobe region, Chimney was able to give us lots of tips and suggestions. Thanks to his good network, he was also able to spontaneously organise various activities such as a boat trip and a horse riding excursion. I can highly recommend this new accommodation, even if it is in a somewhat rural area. It was perfect for me and my friends as the location allowed us to visit both the north and south of Chobe National Park.

Offering a shared barbecue area and a small swimming pool, Elephant Trail Guesthouse is located in Kasane. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and shared kitchen. This is a budget backpacker-type hostel, with a fantastic layout, loads of character, and very well-maintained. I stayed in the stand-alone chalet tent, really airy, bright, and private, facing the pool, although it does get hot in the summer. The place has a kitchen all guests can use, nice swimming pool, great electrical, lighting, wifi, and is super clean. Staff is very warm and welcoming as well. Place is in Kazungulu, not Kasane, so further away from the Chobe park entrance, but then closer to the border with Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is also too far too walk from any town centre, so you need to take a cab to commute.

Located within 8.2 km of Mowana Golf Course and 11 km of Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, POVI Holiday Home provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kasane. Our stay at the POVI Guest House was excellent. Connie is one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. The accommodation was basic but clean, and she went above and beyond to help. You can book activities through the guest house; we booked game drives and river cruises, all of which were excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

Set 11 km from Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, 13 km from Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park and 20 km from Impalila Conservancy, Chobe Blue Guest Inn features accommodation situated in Kasane. I had a very good 3 nights at the guest house. The staff was very friendly and assisted whenever I needed help. Phomolo was very patient with as a solo traveller I needed guidance with almost all my activities. I will definitely use them again.
