The location was very practical and central, the host was very friendly and helpful and accommodated my special requests regarding breakfast, the room is spacious and very stylishly decorated. Comfortable bed. The breakfast common room is luminous and opens to the street with high luminous windows.

The units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, fridge, a coffee machine, a hot tub, bathrobes and a desk. Units come complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hair dryer, while certain units at the bed and breakfast also offer a seating area. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. The welcome! Marc was wonderful and so jovial when we came in. He showed us around the common area downstairs which was equipped with their full kitchen that we could use to cook under Cathy's "supervision" and a sitting area. We also found out we had our own private entrance in the back and access to a washer and dryer and an extra bathroom (WC) in addition to the one we had in our room. Marc led upstairs to the room which was an elegantly converted attic with a sink, a shower with a toilet, a large bed and two small ones. All in one room. There was an expresso machine that he replenished every day, tea bags, chocolates outside of the room and a water bottle, glasses, and MMs for the kids. Outside, they have hens in a closed-in area and a nice cat whom they call "the real boss of the place." Their garden in the back is absolutely beautiful and very nice to hang out on the patio and deck where you can picnic or eat and drink at a large table with plenty of chairs and a nice parasol. Loved every minute of it.
Nazareth

A unique B and B in a great location, 5 minutes from the old city centre. Each room is themed after different cities or cultures and offers very spacious accommodation. If you like a private jacuzzi, ask for the Shanghai room, complete with Moongate and Laughing Buddha. Vincent is a conscientious and caring host with a taste for the exotic and an eye for distinctive quality. Excellent!
Filip was a great host. Very cossy accommodation, clean and quiet. Close to the romantic city center. A lot of small designer contributions, still well equipped and comfortable.
The studio has all the facilities needed for a short stay. This can be helpful to save money as Gent is not a cheap city. The location was quiet and safe. The walk along the canal into the city centre is beautiful and has a few bars.

This is by far the most beautiful and well appointed bed and breakfast we have stayed in. Ann, Lynn and Steven are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Freddie the dog is also great fun, and we are not dog people!! The breakfasts are fresh and very well presented. We agreed the time of the breakfast the night before. The food was excellent - and catered for our requirements. The location is very quiet and private. Beautiful garden, good location to pop into Gent. All round a gem.
The hotel is very fresh and stylish. Free water, downstairs is a lovely bar & restaurant and a rooftop bar with a very nice view, a must visit. The rooms are quiet. Great location, 5 minutes walk from main sites. Room is big enough, but do not have a lot of storage space for clothes (there is a small open hanger near the entrance and no closet). Large bed, but I personally found it too soft and pillows too high and large. A perfect boutique hotel for a short stay/mid week.
