Very warm welcome and greetings when we arrived. Gave us a tour of the house and showed us where everything was located. Asked if we had questions about anything and if everything was ok for us. Showed us their amazing garden and where we could lounge outside in the very private and cozy outdoor space. Just absolutely amazing people and amazing place to stay. There is a fridge full of drinks. Both soft drinks and good Belgium beer. Even a bottle of wine. Marc explained the different beers to us. Had a very nice sleep in a very clean and comfortable bed. Just very well kept. Beautiful!!! Marc did all the building himself and was very passionate about his work. Very impressive Craftsmanship. I can't tell you one bad thing about this place. Will be back again to visit. The delicious breakfast. Fresh!!! Homemade bread, homemade yogurt, homemade granola, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. Fruits, cheese , meat's. The owners have got everything spot on in setting up this purpose-built B&B. Communication of details prior to arrival was excellent. We arrived late in the evening in the dark and rain, but pulling into the tastefully lit and very neat driveway / parking area gave an immediate sense of relaxation. Entry to both the gated drive and apartment was by keypad, so all very straightforward despite the late hour. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with every single aspect so well designed and carefully thought through. Efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, impressively well-equipped kitchen (hob, double oven, large fridge, dishwasher, all the crockery and utensils you could need for extended self-catering), and copious cupboard space throughout. It has its own patio area with a pleasant view. The location is peaceful. Ghent itself is readily accessible, but for me the rural area to the north was more of an attraction. Quiet, flat roads in pristine condition made for a very enjoyable early morning run. We were there for only a weekend, but I would have happily stayed much longer.

A unique B and B in a great location, 5 minutes from the old city centre. Each room is themed after different cities or cultures and offers very spacious accommodation. If you like a private jacuzzi, ask for the Shanghai room, complete with Moongate and Laughing Buddha. Vincent is a conscientious and caring host with a taste for the exotic and an eye for distinctive quality. Excellent!
Filip was a great host. Very cossy accommodation, clean and quiet. Close to the romantic city center. A lot of small designer contributions, still well equipped and comfortable.
Great location, near the city center. The room, even thought it was small, it had almost every essentials. Easy check-in and check-out, privately, great communication with the hosts. The bed was comfortable and the covers were big and fluffy enough for two people.

Loved the breakfasts at the family operated restaurant downstairs and the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners ,who live in the mansion too. The hotel is easily accessible to Ghent St Pieters Train Station, the tram into the city center, and the city park with its museums and the adjacent botanical garden. Great location. Charming stay.
Sven was so welcoming and knowledgable about the area. The Boatel was easy to find and in a great location for parking and walking into the city centre. It was quiet at night with a very comfortable bed. The room was immaculate, shower was really good and bathroom was super clean. Breakfast was absolutely lush with a huge range of food and drinks to choose from. I cannot fault this hotel at all and fully recommend to anyone visiting Gent. Thanks Sven. :-)
This hostel is well located near the Graventeen and the historic city center. We checked-in online, so we could get settled faster on site. The staff is really nice and provided some ideas of activities to do (free walking tour) and restaurants. We stayed in 2 rooms of 4 with a private bathroom. The rooms are convenients for a group, it was really quiet and we had a peaceful night. The breakfast was amazing :) And ghent is breathtaking ! We had a nice stay :)
Room & decoration Neighborhood Facilities This Apartment made our stay in Gent even more pleasant. it was clean, modern, charming and well equipped as described. You can reach the city centre and the old town easily on foot. The area is safe, quiet and beautiful and authentic. It's location near the train station makes a day trip Brügge or Antwerpen very practical. Communication with the owners was flawless. we highly recommend this place!
