The room was comfortable and great value for money, there is a good gym downstairs which we were also able to use, but the best part of the experience was the host. She is an absolute star! Let us use her motorbike for 2 days without charge, kindly offered to take us to the ferry terminal so we could get to cat ba island as we couldn't book a taxi. She even brought us free coffee for the journey and didn't want any money for the trip! Outstanding service and would absolutely recommend staying here.

Room was super clean and everything was nice, view in the room was also wonderful. Reception was super super nice and their english was great! Daytime male reception (sorry I forgot his name) was super helpful.

Nam at Merry House was amazing!!! He was an absolute joy to meet and work with. We were not happy with our first room. Although it was lovely and had a beautiful view, we preferred a room that did not have the street below us. In a matter of minutes he was able to find the perfect room for us without making us feel foolish. Thank you Nam!!!!! We had an absolute blast on a food tour with him. Thank you Nam, for spending the day with us and showing us around your town and all its delicious food!!! Your kindness and enthusiasm is contagious! We absolutely loved our spacious, clean room and even did our laundry!!!!! There was a rack to hang clothes to dry or we could dry them in the washer/dryer. Moments from the apartment is a street FULL of delicious foods to choose from.

I liked how easy it was to check in, the cleanliness of the room, the utilities that come with the room, how quiet it was, and the staff being very welcoming/helpful.

I was quite surprised because the quality of the room was completely better than expected. Cheap prices and great service. There are many small grocery stores and restaurants around the hotel. Everything was quite ok for one night.

The property has all the basic , the air conditioning and the shower are fine. It is off the main road which give us more privacy and more quiet. And the host Jack made our stay more comfortable.
