Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Excellent sea view from the living area and the front porch.
Location
Type of accommodation - apartment suited us very well
We really liked it and would def go back again if maybe blackout blinds or blinds in general were introduced.
The apartment was really lovely and spacious and was in a great location, pretty much in the centre of Carlingford town. There was a restaurant underneath the apartment and we were a bit worried about noise but it wasn't an issue.
Loved the location and views, the apartment had everything we needed. Great to be able to hire bikes or use the hotbox sauna. Walking distance to Carlingford.
Really liked the location in Carlingford Marina. Although I did not select an apartment with "sea view" (which costs extra) there was actually a sea view from one of the bedrooms and also a balcony. The Carlingford to Omeath Greenway which goes along Carlingford Lough starts right at the Marina and there is a bike rental company there too with 10% discount available to those staying at the apartments. The village is a 10-15 minute walk. The apartment was warm and cosy with everything I needed for a 2 night stay.
Jackie gave us a lovely warm welcome and rooms! We enjoyed our full Irish breakfast and the B&B is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to local bars and restaurants. Shalom also have separate self catering apartments.
