Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport.
Most rooms at Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo has a private thermal hot tub (except for the 3-bedroom apartment), which can fit 4 to 6 people. Most units have a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. There are free satellite channels, free WiFi and free parking. Some units have a balcony with lake views.
The whole house and room was sparkling clean. The hosts were lovely and breakfast very generous. They provided overnight laundry service although I arrived late. The host gave useful guidance on sightseeing possibilities. Would highly recommend.

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp.
Each air-conditioned apartment has a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop. The seating area has a flat-screen TV.
Location although I miss the restaurant! That was great set an atmosphere also without it it's boring. The staff were every friendly and accommodating. Lovely!
Turangi
Oreti Village Resort offers stylish apartments with private balcony, full kitchen and laundry, and views of Lake Taupo and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant features timber floors and open fireplaces. The view over the lake is AMAZING! We even extended our stay by one day.
Taupo
Voyager Apartments Taupo is located 50 metres from a safe swimming beach and it is a 10-minute stroll along the lakefront to Taupo town centre. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a heated outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. Easy check-in via door pin code was great as we drove from Auckland.-Taupo and didn't arrive until 10.30 pm. Clean, spacious, comfortable, allocated off street parking, plenty of utilities. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment with thermal spa. Great location and friendly staff.

Excellent location, very bright spacious, comfortable, well equipped unit, spotlessly clean. The way the mutts are set, all have balconies with good outdoor seating. The kitchen area was fabulous, everything you need for self catering. Loretta the Manager was amazing, so friendly, polite and helpful. Kylie on reception was very helpful and efficient. All in all a great stay, I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Taupo.
We're not fishing types but this was a lovely place to stay. Lodge number 8 was very peaceful and comfortable with a decent kitchen for self catering. It's good value for money, there's a laundry and the cafe is excellent. Pleasant sitting out area. It's also sufficiently close to the National Park which was ideal for the day walks we wanted to do.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is an hour’s drive from Taupo town, and 45 mins from Whakapapa Village. Self catering facilities were very good.

Lovely log cabin, the best stocked self catering kitchen we have stayed in in NZ over the years, very friendly and accommodating staff, fireplace with kindling all ready to go and large wood box outside the property.
Self catering and quite spacious.
