Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp. The location was great with an amazing view of the lake and just what my wife and I needed on our honeymoon. It was great as a jumping off point to visit the surrounding areas like Lake Taupo itself and Tongariro National Park as we visited various Lord of the Rings filming locations surrounding and on the volcanoes. The room was clean and very spacious, with one of the largest bathrooms in our three week's staying all across New Zealand.

Situated 35 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park, The Retreat offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an indoor pool and a garden. the duplex was beautiful nice and clean good location next to the lake very peaceful only 5 mins drive to the centre the reception lady was wonderful so friendly and very helpful make us so welcome we had wonderful stay, will definitely come back very highly recommend this place👍🏻😍

Just a 10-minute walk from the gorgeous Lake Taupo, Quest Taupo boasts an outdoor pool. The property offers self-contained apartment and studio accommodation. The room had everything we needed to cook our own meals, clean up after ourselves, do our laundry and watch movies. The bed was also comfortable.
