The Retreat er staðsett í Taupo, nálægt Great Lake-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni og 35 km frá Orakei Korako-hellinum og varmagarðinum. It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu is a 10-minute drive from Trout Hatchery and Turangi. The location was great with an amazing view of the lake and just what my wife and I needed on our honeymoon. It was great as a jumping off point to visit the surrounding areas like Lake Taupo itself and Tongariro National Park as we visited various Lord of the Rings filming locations surrounding and on the volcanoes. The room was clean and very spacious, with one of the largest bathrooms in our three week's staying all across New Zealand.

Voyager Apartments Taupo is located 50 metres from a safe swimming beach and it is a 10-minute stroll along the lakefront to Taupo town centre. Lovely well appointed apartment. Comfortable and clean, close to town centre.

Set 40 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley, Sacred Waters Taupo offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Absolutely loved it here. the staff were nice, facilities were nice, comfy beds! The room had everything we needed. Easy access to the lake front, absolutely loved the heated pool. Best place I have ever stayed in, 100/10. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!!!

Just a 10-minute walk from the gorgeous Lake Taupo, Quest Taupo boasts an outdoor pool. The property offers self-contained apartment and studio accommodation. The host was so friendly and helpful
