He also spoke in his language to people in the safari vehicle who, Btw they were not staying at either property. Love the animals coming to the water hole every evening.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay & Siziwe did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, [in spite of my physical problems] including a lovely gesture of welcome that we won’t disclose. We found that staying here & eating at the Victoria Falls Hotel gave us the best of everything at a tiny fraction of the price of the big hotels. Being a short taxi ride from the town centre means that it is much quieter than we expected.
The breakfast selection was expansive and the eggs done exactly as per order. The hotel sits on an excellent location with brilliant views of the Zambezi River. The hotel boasts of unique and well-thought out buildings. The staff was extra friendly and always eager to help guests. It is one place in Victoria Falls City, Zimbabwe, we shall be visiting over and over again soon.

Staff were really nice and helpful in arranging tours and transports to get around the Victoria Falls. We found them extremely efficient and professional. It was closer to the Falls and the border to walk across Zambia side. Supermarket near the hostel was really convenient when you need to get some lunch or breakfast for the next day trip.

This is my second stay at Ilala and I would recommend it over the Victoria Falls Hotel which I find pretentious.
