Though the hotel building seems old, the staff especially Allan at the reception are awesome. They will ensure your stay is comfortable. Had a small incident ( due to the slippery floor ) but the manager and the staff did everything they could , checking up on me to ensure there were no after effects injuries. The team is caring, if you need a taxi to Vic falls they will also organise that for you to ensure safety. Christine , Allan and the other team members, thank you for making my stay remarkable

It doesn’t worth it’s money. The hotel is “tired” and from Anantara there is only a name

Proximity to Victoria Falls, the staff, the surroundings and the price of everything once you were there. Nice to have a craft village adjacent to the hotel so you could pick up a very wide selection of beautifully crafted objects just a short walk from the back of the hotel. The food was from a smallish menu, but was excellent and excellent value.

The best thing the waterfront has going for them is the amazing view of the Zambezi river from their restaurant. They also have a company that can arrange activities for you right on their property, which is convenient. Not to forget, they have amazing cocktails.
The room comes with breakfast, which is a buffet style, and it wasn't bad at all.

The town was clean and not very busy.
The town was clean and not very busy.
A relaxed atmosphere with lots of bird life and nature reserve adjacent to the town.
My favorite was the micro flight around Victoria falls.
My day trip to Botswana Chobe river cruise & safari.
Not visibility of public transport.
Not spending a week but rather perhaps 4 days.

The Livingstone museum should not be missed - about so much more than David Livingstone (although it has a fascinating archive of his original letters which you can pull out at read).
The Curio market has a good range of souvenirs, big and small, and I did not find the stallholders too pushy. Their prices seemed very fair.
I had excellent coffee at Cafe au Lait!
All these were within less than 10 minutes walk on the main street. As a single female traveller I didn't feel unsafe in any way during the day - I didn't go out after dark, but hotels will always organise taxis if you are unsure, and most attractions collect you from your hotel or lodge.
I had visited the Falls from the other side, so didn't do this again. It isn't a particularly attractive town in itself, but it was an interesting 2 night stay.

Livingstone town is a bit raw, but not unsafe.
Livingstone town is a bit raw, but not unsafe. The classic components - Victoria Falls (you really do not need a guide just call a local taxi - avoid a guy called Bison! The park with Rhino tour, sunset tour - we used the African Queen/Princess and it was excellent. More than adequate snacks and unlimited drinks. The crew were exceptional. We ate at our hotel - the Victoria Falls Waterfront as it was so good and great value. Didn’t need to consider anywhere else. Amazing pizzas.

Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around.
Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around. Avoid being ripped off by taxi drivers. The falls are a sight to behold, it was majestic. Zambesi cruise is a to do activity, have dinner in one of the restaurants afterwards. Instead of buying at the town market, take a trip to Mukuni village for affordable souvenirs to take home.

Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean.
Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean. Mosquitoes weren't too much of an issue. We walked the whole length of the town in one day, enjoying the sights and sounds. Very USD focused though, so plan accordingly.

The sunset cruise was fantastic. Event was our waitress and she was very attentive.
Turn down service is such a special touch that really added to our amazing experience.
Restaurant states it's Halal friendly
100% recommend.
This place is amazingly beautiful. I would say its a little but cozy paradise away from home, a must visit for anyone looking to have a good stay in Livingstone. Also this place is conveniently located within good driving distance of things that matter in Livingstone e.g the Victoria Falls, Mosi-o-tunya national park, shopping mall etcetera. Staff is exceptionally welcoming and friendly; rooms are clean and have a brand new feel to them.
Very nice hotel/hostel. The staff was welcoming, attentive, professional and helpful for organizing activities and any other requests. The garden, patio, swimming pool and bar make for a beautiful common space.
And free pancakes in the afternoon!
The dorm was large and had individual lockers. The facility was extremely clean.
The perfect place for a few days in Zambia. The Livingstone museum is near and the dinner cruise with Lady Livingstone is a MUST. The chefs are exceptional and all the food was terrific.
