I called from LA Guardia Airport inquiring about their shuttle bus service to the hotel. I was impressed with the prompt response. We stepped out of the Airport and the shuttle was waiting for us. Spotless clean, close to LaGuardia Airport, everything appeared brand new. Bed pillows and sheets fresh crisp and clean. Could see Manhattan out the window. Neat Morrican Neighborhood with little cafes restaurants and food carts.
They need to clean it better and the host are very rude the only one nice and look like he care was the old man Ernesto the one who gives you the key but it’s ok just for a sleep again for the price could been better
Queens is a whole world in one city. Many different neighborhoods with different characteristics - could never cover them all. Easy transportation to most places by metro/bus, but also possible to drive around (though difficult to park). Have had dim sum in Flushing, Thai food and a Colombian bakery at Woodside, Greek diner in Astoria. Our son lives in Astoria near Broadway, can walk to the end of his block and lay eyes on about 15 different restaurants from all over the world! In our last visit, we went to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, a real gem and totally unexpected in the heart of NYC.
Just keep in mind that this area has a lot of factories and at night is very very dark. I grew up in New York City and I did not realize that area is in Queens could be this dark. And the streets are very narrow if you are driving literally two-way streets should really be a one-way Street.
Jackson Heights is a wonderful area of Queens. Family area with many wonderful parks and interesting streets. The population is quite diverse and friendly. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area that make shopping convenient. Safe neighborhood.
staff is good and the room is really comfortable. if breakfast has more options that will be more presentable for guest .Only one thing i notice i have asked for a hotel taxi and they mentioned one price but when i reached the destination and price is increased and the driver told me there is hidden tips for Taxi callers. I think this should be checked. This happen several times .
