Good location, room was decent size and generally clean, and bed was comfortable. Reception area was welcoming, and staff reasonably polite. We asked for a kettle at reception, and it was delivered to our room promptly.

1- The Social vibe is what you want as a social traveler and networker. 2- Also decent for kids so you have somewhere to go after a day out (restaurant downstairs, ping pong, pool, greta rooftop view, etc). 3- STAFF. No query too small (printing!), no query too big ("what's the history of the building, Good man?"), can I have an ironing board? 4- Location to the UN is perfect, also for strolling around, Grand Central and all transport. 5- Queen size room is an excellent size for a solo traveller - bathroom is oddly large with great counter space too. 6- Low room floor = no need to wait for elevator.
