The brewery made us chose the guest house and we enjoyed tasting the beer. Great quality. Also a simple curry dish was offered at the bar, tasty and it saved us going out for dinner after a long day. The guest house is upstairs of the bar and kindly offers earplugs due to the bar downstairs but we found the traffic was more of a disturbance during the night. Well, if you know you just use earplugs and then it is not a problem. Very convenient local train takes you straight into the city

Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!

Located a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Mitsuhama Train Station, Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama is a 10-minute drive from Matsuyama Castle. Big room. Very spacious and value for money. But do note that is good only if you drive. There is basically nothing around the hotel. Breakfast was a big portion.

Situated in Mitsuhama, Kominka Mitsuhama Ryokan has a garden and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a terrace with a garden view. At the ryokan, each room includes free toiletries and a hair dryer. The ryokan was impeccably decorated with beautiful Japanese gardens and ponds and gorgeous wood furniture and all kinds of art and beautiful items to view and/or purchase. The host was so welcoming and accommodating and thoughtful. It was truly an escape to a wonderland!
